So this week is Crystal Bowersox night. I mean, just a few days ago she’s been headlining like crazy that she’s quitting American Idol. And that Ryan Seacrest saved the day for us, or Katelyn Epperly also has her own version like Crystal is fine, or what have ya! Tonight, we’re back to another performance night, and this time around, it will be mentored by Alicia Keys. They call it Inspirational Night. Two contestants really did a great job this night and by that you should read or watch below…

CRYSTAL BOWERSOX, did “People Get Ready”. The song title seems to be ironic, like “hey, get ready because I’m still here”. All I can say is that: it is a very good performance! I’ve no idea, but on this night, it’s hard to say that Crystal will not win as a champ of this season – but what do I know, it’s not over yet, so…

LEE DEWYZE performed Simon and Garfunkel’s “The Boxer”, and I am telling you, it rivals Crystal’s performance. I got a bad feeling that these guys will end up battling in the finale. Dewyze vs Bowersox… hmmm, that sounds interesting already!

Next up is, like what Ryan called him, The Sexy CASEY JAMES. Casey did “Don’t Stop” by Fleetwood Mac. I think it was good but I can also agree with Randy Jackson on his comment regarding this performance. Casey is stuck in his own ground. I can’t see him improving or otherwise. He’s just repeating himself. I mean, last week of last week’s performance is no difference of this night’s performance. This guy starts to bore me already, I’m afraid…

TIM URBAN is next. He did “Better Days” by Goo Goo Dolls. I have no further analysis on that. I’ve heard him singing, didn’t watch the performance ‘though so I can’t tell. I wasn’t listening at all, I’m doing something else, lol…

AARON KELLY seems to be taking big risks on this night. He’s doing “I Believe I Can Fly” by R.Kelly and you know that’s NOT an easy song to sing. Specially on a guy like Aaron where you already know his capabilities of singing. This rendition is very risky and I say it’s a big fail. Come on, that’s just bad, wow!

SIOBHAN MAGNUS sings Mariah Carey’s “When You Believe”. I tried to think it was good, or acceptable, but what happened is that I’m left hanging in there. It’s not good, Siobhan. Too bad but I am a fan, really! I want to see her battle Crystal (if Lee gets the boot) in the finale, but I don’t know if she can survive after this performance.

MICHAEL LYNCHE did a superhero soundtrack. It’s “Hero” by Chad Kroeger. Have I thought that this song came from Spiderman???? And why is Big Mike yelling in the end of the song? That’s not right me thinks, heh! Simon didn’t like it too because this song is from “Superman”, now that’s the best of the night!
