American Idol is now up with 9 remaining hopefuls and this night, it’s the mandatory Lennon/McCartney night. People thought this will always be easy singing The Beatles song, but to no avail. It’s one of the hardest themes! So okay, Seacrest happens to still make an introduction about who is John Lennon and who is Paul McCartney. After that, we’ll go straight to the show…

AARON KELLY did “The Long and Winding Road”. It was pretty weak and went a bit sluggish. Ellen DeGeneres said “It felt like a long and winding song”.

KATIE STEVENS sings “Let it Be”… well, it was okay. It was too safe if you ask me, but what do I know about singing anyway. The judges gave their rants and it seems they got a unison of an opinion. “That’s Hot! That’s Amazing! That’s… yawn!!

ANDREW GARCIA‘s rendition of “Can’t Buy Me Love” make Ellen ask Simon that Andrew can indeed buy some love. Meh! That’s not good at all. This guy tries pulling himself up but I think that’s like… getting late?!

MICHAEL LYNCHE did a very good job. You should start guessing on the song he picks! And why this guy always ends up being teased with the “muscles” is beyond me!

CRYSTAL BOWERSOX is up next and she got a cold! No one will know that she’s having a cold because she dominates the stage once again. To me, the performance was just ok and/or average but why is it that the judges seems to be praising that so much? I have no idea, whatsoever, LOL!

TIM URBAN is up next and he did “All My Lovin”. It wasn’t that good, but it wasn’t a disaster either. Tim once again get the brush from the judges, but who cares as long as you stays in the show week after week, right?

Next up is CASEY JAMES. I think he’s been great every night but this night?? Boy, he is THE BEST OF THE NIGHT! Casey did Lennon’s “Jealous Guy” and that song is simply being tailor made for him, so what’s more left to say?? Dominate!

SIOBHAN MAGNUS did “Across the Universe”. Now that is like “career suicide”. I’m not saying it’s bad, but I think Siobhan did listen to the judges to stop screamin and now she did a very sleepy song! Something’s not right in this performance, I’m afraid…

LEE DEWYZE is singing “Hey Jude”. It wasn’t the best one from Lee although his voice has always been powerful this song isn’t the right choice at all. And the bagpiper isn’t helping that much. He’s more like distracting the performance than helping it, so? The crown love Lee’s rendition ‘though…
