Alright, I’ve no idea about any other time zones, but that is either in the morning or in the evening. The fact is that American Idol returns this Tuesday – 13th of January 2010 and everybody is simply anxious to catch the first episode of the 9th season! How time flies, right? Last night FOX did a Season 8 marathon and wow, that doesn’t seem like seven months ago – and now we’re here for the 9th season! I think everyone here is excited how the new judge, Ellen Degeneres, will go. But that’s not all, other guest judges includes Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris, Joe Jonas, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, and Shania Twain.

Fox stated a revision to the format. It’ll be going back to the process where the female singers performing on three consecutive Tuesdays, and the male singers will perform on three consecutive Wednesdays. Any results will be revealed each Thursday until it turns down to 12 singers. No wild card entry this year, so any fans of that round will be left disappointed in this season.

At this point it’s too early to make predictions who will be winning the show. So at the moment, I’m excited to catch the crazy/bad contestants singing their hearts out.
