American Idol Season 10 is just days away, January 19th 2011 – mark that in your calendar – but there are a lot of opinions but this Season’s producer Nigel Lythgoe speaks about the revamped American Idol judges panel and the show itself! What should we expect really? Well, here are just a few statements that you should read before all of these upcoming abomination will fail your expectations or whatever…

First off, Nigel Lythgoe is telling us that the show is better than ever. This is typical. Just like musicians promoting their 2nd album or upcoming album: the previous one is not the best, but the new one is the best. ZzzzZzZ! Alright, Nigel… what else? Oh here… “It feels like a different programme because it’s so different with the personalities that now control the judging”. As a fan of the show, I am really looking forward on this, but…

“Obviously Randy Jackson remains the same, but he’s a different person. Ryan is back to being enthusiastic again, he’s gone through that dark period that they seemed to have last year, and we’re back to having fun, being creative and that feels really good”

And when it comes to people that is worshipping Simon Cowell so bad, here’s what Nigel Lythgoe has to say: “They’re not, and they shouldn’t be, good at chopping people’s legs from underneath them, they’re not that character, and it isn’t about them saying goodbye to people, it’s about saying ‘you’re through, now what you can do to improve is this’ and that’s really good for our end result which I believe this season will be finding a good star.”

Now I am simply waiting for a few more days to see this happen or if all of these will really happen, LOL! So you mean like no more harsh critics but loving each and every contestants no matter how terrible they are? Nice!
