American Idol will be going to Boston tonight in search for a new talent, and just like what Ryan Seacrest always say: This… is “American Idol.” The following were the American Idol showtime.

AMERICAN IDOL : SEASON 9 [BOSTON]

5:00 – Last season’s recap. This includes Paula Abdul’s resignation and the said addition of the new judge, Ellen DeGeneres – although she’s still not appearing on the show until February.

5:03 – Same old stuff like telling how dreams are coming true…

5:05 – It’s rainy, so Boston is a mess but that’s alright since we’re having Victoria Beckham as the guest for Boston Audition.

5:08 – The first person to appear – auditioning the 9th season of American Idol is Janet McNamara of Somerset, Mass. She’s having the ‘revealing’ look, I don’t know why is that but she called Kara Paula! So that’s it.

5:15 – The usual ‘human-interest’ story of the season was aired. This comes from a 16-year-old girl named Maddie Curtis. She has brothers with Downs Syndrome. She’s singing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” and sings it well so even Simon says 16-year-olds are usually annoying – she’s going to Hollywood!

5:20 – Somebody is singing “Womanizer.” but wait, maybe this would somehow, this proves Simon’s point, saying that teens are annoying.

5:25 – The showing of hope in Boston. A random of female contestants in Boston who simply made it to Hollywood.

5:28 – Vitamin Water is the new sponsor this season, so obviously the Coke cups are gone lol.

5:30 – It’s the guy’s turn this time around. First in line is Amadeo De Roca. An Italian-American dude that can belt out the blues. Simon said he’s the “favorite audition of the day”.

5:33 – Up next is the long-haired blond guy named Derek. This guy sing thru his nose, I’ve no idea how can he able to pull it off – which he didn’t! lol

5:35 – First, there’s random videos of those ‘who made it’, not it’s about time to run a random of failures!

5:45 – More talented guys airing next. New York City’s Luke Shaffer and Ben Bright are both making it through.

5:50 – Andrew Fenlon seems to be having a bad day waiting for his audition. This guy might be a tough one although he was like a big smart-ass when gets the introduction. He can actually sang decently but too bad his over confidence didn’t make it. lol

5:59 – Someone who is able to close the hour with worthiness is Ashley Rodriguez of Boston. She sings well and got the looks. She could be everybody’s favorite at this point.

6:00 – Tyler Grady of Nazareth, Pa., also did impressed the judges.

6:10 – Day 2 in Boston and Lisa Olivero, 24, is a waitress that is first to start the day. She’s singing one of the impossible like Mariah Carey. She sadly goes home after that attempt.

6:15 – 18 year old Mike Davis of Boston is next. He sang “Yesterday.” Not the best one, but he makes it through at last.

6:23 – A 16 year old second tear-jerker story of the night telling that her grandmother has Alzheimer’s disease. She sings with real passion and this time gathering a worthwhile comment from Posh Spice: “You’ve got great stage presence.”

6:25 – Good looking guy from New York named Joshua Blaylock got no talent in singing but still make it. No idea why is that…
