American Idol Season 10: Episode 9 : Last week… the first round of the heart breakin’ and dream smashin’ Hollywood Week soared the airwaves and although that it’s the same stuff, it feels different now that we have the demon of screamin’ in the panel of judges! At least there’s just one contestant last week that can’t accept defeat (or how do you call that?). Tonight, it’ll be the GROUP NIGHT! Once again, we’re about to see personality clashes and bossy characters during rehearsals – that’s the best part of this 84 minute episode! But wait… are they also revealing the Top 40 tonight? Let’s find out…

Tonight, you might be having new favorites to pick. Your last week’s favorite might be messing up tonight or last week’s mess will be eliminated tonight. For example, Jacob Lusk. Never heard of this guy but tonight, he’s really impressing the judges (and the audience/viewers). Another promising vocals came from yet another unknown contestant named Deandre Brackensick. Happens in Season 9 already: Crystal Bowersox didn’t get all the pimpin’ but ends up in the finale…

Of course, the drama is everywhere during this Hollywood Week’s Group Performance. The ‘pressure’ is on, like a night before the big day of their lives! Hey why you guys crying??? And wow, thanks to that montage – I remember Mary Powers, LOL! I think this is just too uncomfortable for Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez. They really don’t want to “hurt people’s feelings”, but what can you do? Leave it to the DAWG! 10 Seasons… Randy Jackson literally knows how to chop a contestant, haha!

Personality Conflicts, Lack of Sleep, Forgetting the Words, and Gimmicks were expected in this episode but once again, only the ‘bestest’ will prosper no matter what! Funny thing, it’s like flooding with 15 year olds in here, but hey – these KIDS can really sing, even beating the OLDER GUYS! Lauren Alaina‘s group is just too gimmicky for my taste. Too bad, Lauren Alaina is the only better singer in that group so making Steven Tyler sit in there is up to no use. Anyway, enough talkin’… go watch the episode below!
