American Idol 9 Michelle DelamorAmerican Idol is moving on with it’s second elimination for season 9 (2010) and they’re sending another four contestants home tonight. Leaving this night is John Park, Jermaine Sellers, Michelle Delamor and Haeley Vaughn. These contestants doesn’t surprise me at all. What’s up with Michelle? It seems that the judges keep on praising her rendition of Creed’s “With Arms Wide Open”. I think people just don’t get that, since the normal folks view things differently with the judges, so Michelle goes home tonight.

The show started with the Top 20 contestants performing Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling”, but that happiness is so short because Ryan Seacrest then announced the first contestant that is going home tonight, and that is JOHN PARK. It’s nice seeing John taking this like a real man and being a good sport, saying “I’ve really enjoyed my time here.”

The next guy sent home is the 27 year old Church singer, JERMAINE SELLERS. Once again, no surprises why Jermaine being cut. His tiny falsetto on the boys night is simply awful. How can that performance save him anyway? Now Sellers were brought in the middle of the stage with Andrew Garcia(!), for some reason… giving thrill to the audience maybe, but that’s not the case because it’s obvious enough who will go home between the two. So Jermaine goes home leaving this message to the people: “Where I sing from — you can’t be taught how to riff and run and sing high notes. I’m a church singer. That’s where I come from.”

Next, Ryan starts giving chills on the spines of the girls. The first female conestant going home is MICHELLE DELAMOR. Like what I’ve just above, Michelle did a terrible rendition of a song that suits Lee Dewyze the most – so yes, she’s going home now and she got this for you guys: “I think I was so wrapped up in trying to do everything right while being judged that I kind of lost sight of just performing.”

The last contestant announced to go home is the 16 year old HAELEY VAUGHN. For her age, she’s incredible going this far on Idol, but too bad because she’s no Jordin or Archuleta so her overtly tweaked version of Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb” put her in real danger and sends her home tonight. “I think I could definitely use some more experience”, she said…

This episode also includes a performance from Danny Gokey. He’s plugging his new album and singing the single “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me”.
