This night in American Idol, four people will be eliminated and the show goes on for a prestigious TOP 12. Tonight’s elimination is a big disappointment but what can we do – we’ve seen more shocking eliminations already and this is not a surprise at all. People (myself included) are taking focus on the girls in this season, so whoever goes home from the guys really doesn’t matter – at least to me. LOL!
Anyway, this elimination is also a very cheesy episode. The show started off with all the contestants lip-syncing!! Haha, I thought this is a reality show, and now they are obviously lip-syncing, or?? Boys and Girls are singing Michael Buble’s “I Haven’t Met You Yet”. Before all things started, Ryan Seacrest announces that next week’s episode will be music of the Rolling Stones. Sounds really good to me!
The first person called to be in the Top 12 is Didi Benami. Next up is the chic with the best pipes, Siobhan Magnus, who also did make it to the Top 12.
Next is the bottom two from the girls. It is a battle between Katelyn Epperly and Paige Miles. If you’re betting that Paige Miles goes home – then you loose! That is because Katelyn Epperly is the one going home! Katelyn can now feel the earth move as she runs to the other contestants and cry. Wow, that’s just… sad?? I think both Paige and Katelyn really got a bad night during the Top 8 but it’s Katelyn going home, so…
Next four guys were called together to hit the stage: Casey James, Tim Urban, Lee Dewyze, and Todrick Hall. Cougar’s bait, Casey James make it to the Top 12 and so as Lee and Tim. Todrick Hall goes home. I thought Tim Urban will be the one going home but you really can’t tell. Tim and Todrick were equally bad, but this is it!!
Who’s next entering in the Top 12? Oh, Crystal Bowersox…
Next is Michael Lynche is called out. Ryan asked: “Do you think you could fit on one stool?” From the look of things those stools really couldn’t handle huge guys like Big Mike, but Mike Lynche is in the top 12 and he knows where he should be sitting.
Lacey Brown and Aaron Kelly: Both in to the Top 12
The next elimination is no surprise. It’s Andrew Garcia and Alex Lambert being called. So yes, Alex Lambert goes home. Alex might be good but his nerves got him so bad in the neck so there, you go home. LOL!
The last two is a battle between Lilly Scott and Katie Stevens. This seems tough upon first look but what do youknow, it is Lily Scott going home! I feel bad for Lily, she’s one of the consistent since Hollywood Week and now she gets the boot. I don’t know, maybe America just didn’t like chics with gray hair and piercings and voted for the girl next door type like the sweet Katie Stevens. Lily looks ok but this statement she said sounded pissed: “a lot of incredible talent is going home tonight” and that “I don’t know what America wants to hear.”
Here are your Top 12 for American Idol Season 9 (2010)
