This night on American Idol, we will be watching how well these boys can do. Last night seems to be a struggling night for the girls, so what about this night? The buzz on the Male Contestants weren’t as noisy as Didi Benami’s ‘Terrified’ or Crystal Bowersox’s ‘Natural Woman’, but on the girls night – these two girls didn’t impressed the judges that much. Maybe the hope for this week were on the boys. Read more about the review of tonight’s episode in American Idol…
Let us go first with the BAD ONES
Tops the list is no other than Tim Urban. I’ve no idea what he is doing, lol. Sure he’s singing One Republic ‘Apologize’ but he should start giving his apologies to the band for killing the song – mostly the chorus, because nothing gets more annoying when he tries emulating that line!
Jermaine Sellers, well I did like his rendition of ‘Man in the Mirror’ during Hollywood Week. I think that sound really cool. This time, he’s using that same formula but unfortunately, it didn’t work this time. Sellers did ‘Get Here’ by Oleta Adams – his pitchy tiny little voice sounds like a broken twitter.
I used to like Tyler Grady, but I don’t know if I can still dig him after watching that horrible performance. The song started great, but when the band strikes, Tyler swings here and there emulating Jim Morrison and wow, what was that?! LOL!
Alex Lambert, boy he’s so tense! Simon Cowell was so right in here. Maybe Alex didn’t know that part of the show is singing in front of a million of televiewers and his stage fright got him so bad in the neck!
Next is John Park. I think this is the night’s most boring performance. He did ‘God Bless the Child’ and sang it in his traditional deep manly voice. I’ve no idea if John tries to be the next Frank Sinatra, but that’s just boring, in fact, bad performance.
Last is Aaron Kelly. First, I’ve no idea why is he still here. On his final shot in Hollywood Week, he forgot the words like… a minute??!! And they still let him through. This time he can’t even hit the notes and what’s up with the positive feedback from the judges? Oh well, yeah, what do I know anyway…
THE GOOD ONES were at least, not interesting to watch. I mean, you can check out the video since each and everyone got an own opinion. For example, I can’t find anything ‘excellent’ in Casey James rendition of the not-so-worn-out Bryan Adams track called ‘Heaven’ but Casey got all the praise from the judges – singing and non-singing alike!
Next is Big Mike… well, is that good for the judges? I thought he’s just mumbling a Maroon 5 song. He simply continues on and on and I couldn’t get any word in there. You know Big Mike also tries to innovate. Remember his version of John Mayer’s ‘Waiting for the World to Change’?
The rest of the guys who’ve been labelled good by Ellen, Kara, and Randy were not at all great. I think I can agree with Simon on Lee Dewyze being the real good performance of the night.
