American Idol aired the first voting episode and we got the girls to first take the stage. It was a bit disappointing to see this episode since, to those who are familiar on the previous episode, we knew that the girls are seems to be doing great in this season. With only two girls getting a positive fullhouse, this seems to be failure. Not to mention that the judges were very sharp tonight. Maybe this has something to do with the upcoming departure of Simon Cowell on the show. Radny Jackson and Kara DioGuardi are both seem to be giving real constructive criticism tonight.

Apparently, the first two strong contenders from the girls didn’t shine their spark in this episode, namely Crystal Bowersox and Didi Benami. Crystal did an Alanis Morissette track “Hand in my Pocket” and Didi Benami did “The Way I am”. Although good from the three judges, the performance didn’t impress Simon Cowell. Coming strong in this night’s episode is Lily Scott and Siobhan Magnus. The rest… well, like what they always say: they’re okay!
