American Idol aired their 19th episode for this 9th Season and the girls are back in taking the stage first. There are eight girls left, so expect (or not expect) only the best performance since this is a very crucial stage for each contestants. I think in this episode, the highlights were Didi Benami, Crystal Bowersox, and Lily Scott. Siobhan was doing ok, of course, but she’s not a real stand out this night.

We start the show with Ellen DeGeneres sitting on Simon Cowell’s lap – and acting like they’re kissing each other. That’s not so original and risky, so to speak – but anyway, the staff seems to be rushing. No further questions and blabla non-sense. This is a singing competition, so let’s begin with…

KATIE STEVENS – I’ve no idea what is happening to this girl. I thought she’s one of the front runners of the show since she started off to be likable and comes with a great voice (not to mention that sob story that Idol tries to pimp on her). However, now… she’s one of the girls going down and deteriorates week after week. Katie got a hard time finding herself in this competition. This night she did Kelly Clarkson’s “Breakaway” and that’s just terrible. She use to be really good, but now only the whole lotta makeover is the only good on her. This girl might be in danger and will be cut next week…

LACEY BROWN – She’s singing Belinda Carlile’s “The Story”. I’ve no idea but I think she’s sounding average and I’ve no idea what the judges think. Looks like Lacey Brown finally found herself while digging the dirt.

KATELYN EPPERLY – She’s did something that the judges didn’t like but I think she’s having an ok performance. It is not the best of the night or something that you might be interested watching over and over again. She did Carole King’s “I Feel the Earth Move” – to me, I’ve no idea why did she picked that song.

DIDI BENAMI – is up next and to those who catches the episode last week, we all know that she got slammed by the judges so hard she couldn’t even speak but cry! Now she’s back on the stage with her guitar and sang Fleetwood Mac’s “Rhiannon”
and to her surprise, the judges are praising her (except for Randy). And oh, because of the good reviews, she’s laughing this time around too. No more tears for her.

PAIGE MILES is up next and I’ve no idea why is she still here. The judges bash her so bad. Last week she got bashed too. Well, we didin’t know she got bash since they comfort her after the bashing, LOL! However this time, no more comfort given and she’s taking it all. I got a feeling that the judges JUST didn’t like her (or whatever). She “picks the wrong song choice but she CAN sing kuz she got the voice blabla”. Stop the bs kuz I don’t even think she can sing that well, but what do I know…

CRYSTAL BOWERSOX is up next. Sometimes it’s hard if millions are watching and expecting you to be the best. This is the case with Crystal now. People expect a lot from her, it’s good that she can still deliver the goods! She did Tracy Chapman’s “Give Me One More Reason” and that simply dominates this night’s episode! She got a white Les Paul this time around and wow, I can no longer wait for this girl to win American Idol, release an album and do relentless touring!

Closing this night’s episode is LILY SCOTT. She’s good and can be Crystal’s rival among the girls, but I don’t think her performance is as good as Crystal’s but everybody got an own opinion.
