This Ninth Season of American Idol seems to be running so quick and now we’re down to 71 contestants in the Hollywood round. It was also said that they will be announcing those who made it in the Top 24 in this episode. As expected, these 71 American Idol hopefuls were divided and sent into three rooms. This might look confusing since there’s a room which looks shaky but got Angela Martin in there too. If you’re in a room together with Andrew Garcia or Didi Benami, does that mean that you’re safe?? Let’s get down to the show…

Jermaine Purifory sang ‘Brick House’

Casey James sings a girl song. It was called ‘Bubbly’ by Colbie Caillat. It seems that Casey James is getting better and better each time he performs.

Jermaine Sellers sings ‘Man in the Mirror’, that one makes Randy nodding to the beat and makes Ellen smiling too. It was a ‘Diva Move’ Randy said.

Next is Siobhan Magnus, she’s doing great on a real high note that even makes Simon smiling…

Next up is my favorite, Crystal Bowersox. She’s singing a Sheryl Crow song – ‘If it makes you happy’. Boy, isn’t that amazing! She gathered great reactions once again, hope she’s in for this Top 24 thing!

A song ‘Im Yours’ by Jason Mraz has been rendered by three guys. Each got their own interpretation on the song and that what make it so great – distinguishing the bad! Guys singing this track are Alex Lambert, Mike Lynche (or better known as Big Mike), and the last different but good rendition came from Todrick Hall.

Thaddeus Johnson once again do another ‘Man in the Mirror’ thing and this time with his mother cheering. ‘Man in the Mirror’ seems to be the guy’s favorite?? Lloyd Thomas also did this song!

Blonde student, Charity Vance, is singing it so high!

Once again rocking the stage is the chic that “hard to work with”, Mary Powers. She did a Katy Perry song. This mom doesn’t have any variety – she’s always singing in the same voice, in the same theme and in the same tone?? This time she did ‘Hot N Cold’.

Let’s get down to those who can sing but forgetting the words! Simon always reminds this to the contestants and maybe Aaron Kelly just don’t get that. He forgot the words and looks up the ceiling of the Kodak Theater, though his singing well – maybe that could pull him down??

Next is Ashley Rodriguez. Great one doing Jordin Sparks ‘Battlefield’.

Anyway, we’re coming near to the excitement. The judges heads down to Room 1. Judge Ellen DeGeneres tells them that they are indeed good singers but are actually going to the next round. In this room you can see, Katie Stevens, Lilly Scott, Andrew Garcia, Tyler Grady, Michael Lynche and Thaddeus Johnson.

The judges then goes to this Room 2. This is like a haunted room, lol! Contestants looks very tense here, giving us an early idea that all people in this room will be send back home and it’s right. Among those that gets cut is the rocker mom who always sings a Pink song, Mary Powers. The singing cop, Brian Walker. Lloyd Thomas, Hope Johnson and Charity Vance.

Ok, so the judges finally went to Room 3. Making them hear like they’re not making it before hearing the good news. People in Room 3 is in for the next round and this includes: John Park, Janell Wheeler, Aaron Kelly, Shelby Dressell, and Angela Martin.

And like what it was said that they’re announcing the Top 24 now, it’s the first time that they’re announcing the Top 24 in the stage of Kodak Theater, and Big Mike is the first guy who were announced to be in the Top 24.

Yep, they’ve announced the ‘Top 24′ but not all. You should wait for tomorrow to finally get the entire results. The usual teasing trailers ends the show, like showing a clip like Andrew Garcia didn’t make it?? That’s what I call Good TV. That’s it for now, let’s wait for the next episode tomorrow night…
