The heat is getting better in American Idol. Last elimination, Siobhan Magnus gets the cut. So that leaves us with four guys and Crystal Bowersox – the only girl left standing in this season. So who’s winning? Literally, we don’t know but each and everyone got their own speculations. If you think Aaron Kelly will be the next American Idol, then that’s just fine by me! However, I am not so convinced that Aaron will be the one winning as I find nothing special with his singing “talent”…

So it all goes down to Lee Dewyze. Okay, I’m aware that there are millions of people believing that Crystal Bowersox will be the next American Idol, but like what I’ve said – everything is still uncertain. From the look of things and based on the previous performances of these contestants – Lee Dewyze is the kind of guy that we can see progressing in each week. Last Week, his rendition of Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One” impresses the judges so much and well, the judges just love to hear contestants tweaking songs (not until they turn to be a disaster).

My favorite Lee Dewyze performance is ‘The Boxer’. I think that’s a very powerful performance: making an old song sound really new is not happening in this season. While Crystal Bowersox is so good in her own league, I can’t see her improving so much nor is she implementing new tricks with her weekly performance. As I look at her, she’s just repeating herself over and over again. Last week, she didn’t even manage to pull it off.

Now that Siobhan Magnus is gone, the chance for a girl to win this ninth season is pretty slim, not unless if Crystal can survive until the Top 2, but I bet ya, the guys will not simply sit there and wait for their turn to be eliminated. The Frank Sinatra week might simply put Crystal in danger, but we’ll see…
