Since there are just too many speculations regarding ‘who will replace Simon Cowell’, I didn’t mind this one at first. Now the man has spoken and sounds like a real deal this time around. Last Monday (9th February 2010) shock jock, Howard Stern, told his Satellite Radio Listeners that the rumor is certainly true. Producers of American Idol were considering him as a replacement of Simon Cowell and Stern just got tsomething to say, like “I’ll do that for $100 million.” Stern said. “For $100 million a year, to judge a karaoke contest? Ok. Why not?” It was reported that AI producers are very much willing to match Howard’s recent current salary.

As far as I can remember, Howard Stern doesn’t like American Idol and now producers are willing to spend that kind of money to bring a guy on the panel to be a part of the show he didn’t like? On second thought, this might be it. Too many haters but we’ll just wait and see. Stern got his ‘opinions’ as always and I think we need someone that has strong opinions to fill Simon’s shoes??
