American Idol heads Orlando, Fla and this time, the guest judge is no other than the Emmy winning actress (and also singer) Kristin Chenoweth. This seems to be a very talented state since there were about 31 auditioners receiving Golden Tickets, some bad ones and a guy being escorted by the security. It all comes down to the Orlando auditions…

First off is Theo Glinton. He tried singing Pat Benetar song taht simply ends up screaming them off his lungs. Not a good impression to start with…

Seth Rollins is next and he’s coming from Lakeland, Fla., he is our first sob story of the night. The guy is having an autistic son. Right here, he rendered a Frank Sinatra song, that’s a good audition. Four yeses goes out for this guy…

Jermaine Purifoy is up next and he’s singing a Tony Bennett song. That’s a good rendition coming from a young guy singing this song. Randy said he’s voting for a “Two-bazillion percent yes!” Maybe he’s trying to emulate Paula Abdul in constructing words this time around.

Shelby Dressel is the kind of girl who has an issue with paralysis. She sangs Norah Jones and when she happens to forget the lyrics she simply say: ‘Holy Sh–!” She made it to the next round.

Next up is Jay Stone who did a rather original cover of “Come Together”. He’s doing it in a beatbox style ala Blake Lewis.

Coming up next is Cornelious Edwards. Now this one is a bit odd. The guy jumps and did some split acrobatic and it’s no surprise that he’ll be ripping his pants by doing that stunt. I don’t think he’s not feeling anything bad in that fall haha, but that’s just how the way I see it. He’s in for the next round…

Bernadette Desimone and Amanda Desimone were up next. They were more like twins tha ordinary sisters. Both gorgeous girls did make it to the next round.

The highlight of the night, Jarrod Norrell. He did the “Amazing Grace” but hes one of those contestants who just can’t take no for an answer. Securities were called, but this isn’t Lamar Royal anymore. This time he was cuffed and being lead out to the building.

The last contestant is Matt Lawrence. This is the guy who tells us stories like he did robbed a bank with a BB gun about ten years ago and have spent four years in jail. He wants his family to get pround on him now, and I think he’ll be. Great vocals from this guy. Simon said “I’m very impressed”, that speaks it all.
