American Idol judge, Randy Jackson talks about the upcoming 9th season of American Idol and here are the things that he’s able to say. “Usually, whoever comers in first or second, that next season of auditions, you have a lot of those kinds of people, it didn’t happen like that this time.” SO maybe we are about to see real contestants this time, not recycled ones (ie: the rejected flukes from previous season). Jackson also added: “We got a very interesting, very unique cast that’s only unique to season nine”, sounds interesting already!
Randy did stated that he kindda missing Paula Abdul, who was with American Idol since its first season until season eight. “She is one of our best friends, it’s going to take a little getting used to.” Jackson said.
Like what being stated in the news, Paula Abdul will be replaced on the the live broadcasts by Ellen DeGeneres. Also, the audition rounds will contain other guest judges like Victoria Beckham and Neil Patrick Harris (of How I Met Your Mother TV show).
